Welcome to Middlesbrough College’s brand new blog!

This new and interactive blog is the perfect place to find out about all the latest news and events happening in and around College.

The blog has come about as a direct result of our student led focus groups. You told us that you’d like a more direct form of communication which you can easily access- and we listened!

We’ll regularly update you when we are organising a student event or activity, and when we have external visitors coming to the College. We’ll also blog about advice to get you further in life, such as C.V. tips and UCAS guidance.

Please feel free to comment and share our posts, and if you have any questions about the College, drop us a line on our Facebook page, where we’ll get back to you straight away!

  1. Craig Pearson says:

Can you tell me if the finance department is still available despite term ending. If not who can I contact about
financial matters regarding going to university.
    Many thanks

  2. Hi Craig, our financial department is open throughout the summer. If you’re wanting to speak to someone from the college about finance options for university, our careers team will be more than happy to help. You can contact them on 01642 333257.

However if you’re looking for more detailed information and guidance, you’re best getting in touch with Student Finance England. Their website (www.gov.uk/student-finance) has loads of information on what’s on offer for individual circumstances. If you’re wanting to get in touch, you visit their contact page, here: /www.gov.uk/contact-student-finance-england

    Hope this helps! 🙂
